Schedule

GOSH 2016 was about connecting people and sharing stories, creating coherent ideas about what open science hardware is, and dreaming about what it might be. One of the main outcomes was the GOSH Manifesto, a clear statement of our shared values and intentions.

The goal of GOSH 2017 is to bring the spirit of our Manifesto to life. This includes concrete outcomes for individual participants, like sharing experiences as users and developers of open science hardware, identifying best practices, collaborating to create opportunities and address failures, and building lasting relationships.

We will also focus on pursuing our shared goals and vision. In 2017 we believe that goal is to…

Build a roadmap to bring together the people, skills and tools needed to make open science hardware ubiquitous by 2025.

Day 5 + 6 – Get to work (optional)

Sunday + Monday, March 26 + 27

These are days reserved for collaborations. Facilities, tools, and spaces will be available for GOSH participants and collaborators to do the hard work of integrating ideas, tools, software, methods, partnerships, projects, etc. Because of the global nature of the GOSH network, it’s important to create time at this conference explicitly for this purpose.
