javierJavier Serrano is a Physicist and Electronics Engineer working in the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). He specializes in the design and development of electronics for controlling the particle accelerators that probe the most minute constituents of matter. A fervent advocate of freedom in the digital sphere, he is the co-author of the CERN Open Hardware License and the creator of the Open Hardware Repository, a web platform where institutes, companies and individuals freely share hardware designs.
